เมื่อวันที่ 27 มีนาคม 2569 นางกัญญารัตน์ นินนาท ภริยากงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครซิดนีย์ เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานสาธิตการทำอาหารไทยสำหรับคู่สมรสนักการทูต และ Friends of Thailand ในนครซิดนีย์

ภายในงานมีการสาธิตการปรุงอาหารไทย ได้แก่ ผัดไทยและขนมชั้น ซึ่งเป็นเมนูที่มีชื่อเสียงและได้รับความสนใจจากชาวต่างชาติเป็นอย่างมาก ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้เรียนรู้ทั้งการเลือกสรรวัตถุดิบและเครื่องปรุง ขั้นตอนการปรุงอาหาร ตลอดจนความพิถีพิถันในการประกอบอาหารและขนมไทยที่สะท้อนอยู่ในวิถีชีวิตแบบไทย

นอกจากการเผยแพร่อาหารไทยให้เป็นที่รู้จักในวงกว้างแล้ว กิจกรรมดังกล่าวยังเป็นโอกาสในการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างประเทศไทยกับนานาประเทศ อันนำไปสู่การธำรงไว้ซึ่งมิตรภาพอันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่างกัน

On 27 March 2026, Mrs. Kanyarat Ninnad, spouse of the Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney, hosted a Thai cooking demonstration for spouses of diplomats, as well as Friends of Thailand in Sydney.

The event featured demonstrations of two iconic Thai dishes, namely Pad Thai and Khanom Chan, which are widely recognized and highly appreciated among foreigners. The participants had the opportunity to learn not only the cooking techniques, but also the meticulous attention to detail in ingredient selection, as well as the refinement that characterize Thai culinary traditions and way of life.

Beyond promoting Thai cuisine to a broader audience, the event also served as a meaningful platform to strengthen ties between Thailand and the international community in Australia, thereby fostering and sustaining the long-standing friendship between them.
