Join us for an engaging panel discussion on "Queer Cinema and Popular Culture from Thailand"

This special event celebrates the screening of The Paradise of Thorns at Queer Screen’s 32nd Mardi Gras Film Festival.

This event will explore the history of Thai queer media and its role in fostering diversity in film. Our speakers will discuss Thailand’s landmark marriage equality achievement in 2025 and the global impact of Thai BL & GL fandom, including its growing influence in Australia. Attendees will also enjoy exclusive screenings of Thai BL & GL content and have the chance to share their thoughts, ask questions and connect with fellow fans.
