สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ นำเสนอภาพรวมภารกิจของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ซึ่งดูแลพื้นที่รัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์ รัฐที่มีชาวไทยพำนักอยู่มากที่สุดในออสเตรเลียรวมถึงการบริหารงบประมาณตามภารกิจของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ในด้านต่าง ๆ นอกจากนั้น ทั้งสองฝ่ายแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการบริหารงบประมาณอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ การส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจและการศึกษาระหว่างไทย - ออสเตรเลีย การส่งเสริม soft power ของไทย ตลอดจนการดูแลชุมชนไทยในรัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์

 

ในระหว่างการเยือน กงสุลใหญ่ฯ และคณะฯ ได้พบหารือกับหน่วยงานท้องถิ่น ได้แก่ NSW Treasury และ City of Sydney เพื่อศึกษาและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการบริหารงบประมาณในระดับท้องถิ่นและระดับรัฐด้วย

 

On 3 July 2025, Mr. Naruchai Ninnad, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney, together with officials from the Royal Thai Consulate-General and Ms. Wanasri Jotikabukkana, the Director of Thai Trade Centre in Sydney, welcomed the Thai Senate Standing Committee on Monitoring Budget Administration, led by Associate Professor Dr. Alongkot Vorakee, Senator and Chairman of the Committee, on the occasion of their official visit to Sydney from 3 to 4 July 2025.

In this connection, the Consulate-General presented an overview of the Consulate’s mission, which covers New South Wales, the Australian state with the largest Thai population, and shared details of budget management in various areas of its work. Both sides exchanged views on effective budget administration, the promotion of economic and educational cooperation between Thailand and Australia, the advancement of Thailand’s soft power, and support for the Thai community in New South Wales.

 

During the visit, the Consul-General and the delegation also held discussions with local agencies, including NSW Treasury and the City of Sydney, to study and exchange perspectives on budget management at both local and state levels.
