เมื่อวันที่ 4 ธันวาคม 2568 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครซิดนีย์ ร่วมกับทีมประเทศไทย จัดงานเลี้ยงรับรองเนื่องในวันคล้ายวันพระบรมราชสมภพ พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร วันชาติ และวันพ่อแห่งชาติ 5 ธันวาคม 2568 ณ ห้อง Grand Ballroom โรงแรม Shangri-La นครซิดนีย์ โดยได้รับเกียรติจากนางสาวอาจารี ศรีรัตนบัลล์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา เข้าร่วมงาน และมีนาง Emily Jane SUVAAL สมาชิก Legislative Council (สภาสูง) แห่งรัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์และเลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการด้านการค้าและธุรกิจขนาดเล็ก เป็นผู้แทนนาย Chris Minns มุขมนตรีรัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์ และนาย Robert Kok สมาชิกสภาเทศบาลนครซิดนีย์ เป็นผู้แทนนาง Clover Moore นายกเทศมนตรีนครซิดนีย์ เข้าร่วมเป็นแขกเกียรติยศ นอกจากนี้ ยังมีคณะกงสุลประจำรัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์ ผู้แทนหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน สถาบันการศึกษาในรัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์ ชุมชนไทย และเครือข่าย Friends of Thailand เข้าร่วมงานมากกว่า 300 คน
ในช่วงพิธีการ เชิญผู้เข้าร่วมงานยืนสงบนิ่งเป็นเวลา 1 นาที เพื่อถวายความอาลัยแด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง จากนั้น นางสาวอาจารี ศรีรัตนบัลล์ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ และนายนฤชัย นินนาท กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครซิดนีย์ ได้กล่าวสุนทรพจน์น้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง พร้อมทั้งกล่าวถึงความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่างไทยและออสเตรเลียในหลากหลายมิติ รวมถึงศักยภาพความร่วมมือในอนาคต เช่น การพัฒนาด้านพลังงานสะอาดและพลังงานหมุนเวียน นวัตกรรมดิจิทัลและปัญญาประดิษฐ์ ตลอดจนการเกษตรสมัยใหม่ รวมทั้งย้ำถึงชุมชนไทยที่เข้มแข็งในออสเตรเลีย
ด้านนาง Emily Jane SUVAAL และนาย Robert Kok ร่วมกล่าวแสดงความยินดีในโอกาสวันชาติไทย พร้อมเน้นย้ำความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยและออสเตรเลียในด้านสำคัญ ได้แก่ เทคโนโลยี พลังงานหมุนเวียน การเกษตร และวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ รวมทั้งความสัมพันธ์อันใกล้ชิดระหว่างไทยและรัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์ ซึ่งมีชุมชนไทยเข้มแข็งและมี Thai Town ตั้งอยู่ใจกลางนครซิดนีย์
ก่อนเสร็จสิ้นพิธีการบนเวที เอกอัครราชทูตฯ กล่าวเชิญชวนผู้เข้าร่วมงานดื่มถวายพระพรแด่สมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวและประชาชนชาวไทย รวมทั้งถวายพระพรแด่สมเด็จพระเจ้าชาร์ลส์ที่ 3 และประชาชนชาวออสเตรเลีย
ภายในงานมีการแสดงดนตรีไทย การบรรเลงบทเพลงพระราชนิพนธ์ในพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร และกิจกรรมถ่ายภาพจำลองการสวมใส่ชุดไทยพระราชนิยมด้วยระบบ AI เพื่อเทิดพระเกียรติและเผยแพร่พระอัจฉริยภาพของสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง รวมทั้งมีการจัดแสดงอาหารไทยสี่ภาค ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจและสร้างความประทับใจแก่ผู้เข้าร่วมงานเป็นอย่างยิ่ง
On 4 December 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Sydney, together with Team Thailand, hosted a reception to commemorate the birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, Thai National Day, and Thai Father’s Day (5 December 2025). The event was held at the Grand Ballroom of the Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney. The Consulate-General had the honour of welcoming H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, the Honourable Emily Jane SUVAAL, BN MLC, Member of the Legislative Council and Parliamentary Secretary for Trade and Small Business, representing the Honourable Chris Minns, Premier of New South Wales, and Councillor Robert Kok, representing the Lord Mayor of the City of Sydney. The reception was well-attended by members of the Consular Corps in New South Wales, representatives from government agencies, the private sector, academic institutions in New South Wales, the Thai community, and the Friends of Thailand network.
During the official ceremony, the guests observed a one-minute silence in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, and Mr. Naruchai Ninnad, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney, then delivered remarks reflecting on the boundless benevolence and legacy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. They also highlighted the longstanding and close relationship between Thailand and Australia across multiple sectors, as well as future cooperation opportunities in areas such as clean and renewable energy development, digital innovation and artificial intelligence, and modern agriculture, as well as stressed on the strength of the Thai Community in Australia.
The Honourable Emily Jane SUVAAL and Councillor Robert Kok also delivered congratulatory remarks on the occasion of Thailand’s National Day, underscoring the importance of Thailand and Australia's collaboration in key sectors, including technology, renewable energy, agriculture, and health sciences. They further emphasised the close ties between Thailand and New South Wales, home to a vibrant Thai community and the well-known Thai Town located in the heart of Sydney.
The official ceremony was ended by a toast led by H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, honouring His Majesty the King of Thailand and the people of Thailand, as well as His Majesty King Charles III and the people of Australia.
The reception featured traditional Thai musical performances, renditions of royal compositions by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, and an AI-generated photo activity allowing guests to experience traditional Thai royal-inspired attire in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. The event also showcased regional Thai cuisines from the four regions of Thailand, which were warmly received and left a lasting impression on more than 300 attendees.
