เมื่อวันที่ 25 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 นางกัญญารัตน์ นินนาท ภริยากงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครซิดนีย์ เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงาน Morning Tea ให้กับกลุ่ม Sydney Consular Women’s Club ภายในงานได้มีการจัดทำขนมไทยมงคลโบราณ “ทองชมพูนุช” ซึ่งเป็นขนมหาทานยาก เพื่อสะท้อนเอกลักษณ์และความงดงามของวัฒนธรรมไทยผ่านอาหารไทย งานดังกล่าวยังเป็นการส่งเสริมซอฟต์พาวเวอร์ (Soft Power) ของไทย โดยใช้มรดกทางวัฒนธรรมด้านอาหารเป็นสื่อกลางในการสร้างความเข้าใจและความประทับใจแก่ชาวต่างชาติ
กิจกรรมการทำขนมไทยได้รับความสนใจจากผู้เข้าร่วมงานเป็นอย่างมาก ทั้งในด้านความหมายอันเป็นสิริมงคล ประวัติความเป็นมา ตลอดจนขั้นตอนการทำที่ประณีตงดงาม บรรยากาศเป็นไปอย่างอบอุ่นและเอื้อต่อการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมระหว่างกัน
On 25 February 2026, Mrs. Kanyarat Ninnad, spouse of the Consul-General in Sydney, hosted a Morning Tea for members of the Sydney Consular Women’s Club.
During the event, there was a demonstration and preparation of Thong Chompoo Nuch, a rare and auspicious traditional Thai dessert, reflecting the uniqueness and beauty of Thai culture through Thai cuisine. The event also served to promote Thailand’s soft power by using its culinary heritage as a means to foster understanding and create a lasting impression among international guests.
The activity attracted significant interest from attendees, who were keen to learn about the dessert’s auspicious meaning, historical background, and its delicate and intricate preparation process. The atmosphere was warm and conducive to cultural exchange among participants.
