The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Sydney, in collaboration with Macquarie University warmly invites you to "Public Lecture on Thai Studies" as part of "Southeast Asian Media and Cultural Studies Symposium" seminar.

The seminar will take you on a journey through the rise of Boys Love (BL) and Girls Love (GL) in Thailand. From beloved novels to blockbuster series, BL and GL have captured hearts both locally and globally. These genres are more than just fan favorites, they are reshaping culture, fandoms, and the media industry.

Explore the past, present, and future of Thai BL & GL with keynote speaker Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natthanai Prasannam from the Faculty of Humanities, Kasetsart University and join in sharing ideas and exchanging knowledge together.
