เมื่อวันที่ 15 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 นางสาวอาจารี ศรีรัตนบัลล์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา และนายนฤชัย นินนาท กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครซิดนีย์ เข้าเยี่ยมชมการเรียนการสอนของโรงเรียนสอนภาษาไทยวัดพุทธรังษี (Buddharangsee Thai Community Language School: BTCL School) ซึ่งเปิดการเรียนการสอนภาษาไทย ดนตรี และนาฏศิลป์ไทยทุกวันอาทิตย์
ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ และกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ฟังการบรรยายเกี่ยวกับหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนภาษาไทย ดนตรีไทย และศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทย ตลอดจนพบปะและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกับคณะกรรมการโรงเรียน คณะครู นักเรียน และผู้ปกครอง ซึ่งสะท้อนถึงความเข้มแข็งของชุมชนไทยในนครซิดนีย์ที่ร่วมกันธำรงรักษามรดกทางภาษาและวัฒนธรรมไทยให้คงอยู่ในต่างแดน
โรงเรียนภาษาไทยวัดพุทธรังษีเป็นโรงเรียนชุมชนสอนภาษาและวัฒนธรรมไทยในนครซิดนีย์ที่มีประวัติการก่อตั้งมายาวนาน โดยมุ่งมั่นที่จะปลูกฝังและอนุรักษ์ภาษาและวัฒนธรรมไทยสำหรับคนรุ่นต่อไปผ่านหลักสูตรที่สร้างสรรค์และน่าสนใจ ไม่เพียงแต่การเรียนภาษาไทยเท่านั้น แต่ยังเปิดโอกาสให้เยาวชนได้ซึมซับขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีอันทรงคุณค่าผ่านการเรียนดนตรีและนาฏศิลป์ไทย รวมทั้งกิจกรรมที่จัดขึ้นทั้งภายในโรงเรียนและร่วมกับชุมชนอื่น ๆ

On 15 February 2026, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, together with Mr. Naruchai Ninnad, Consul-General in Sydney, visited the Buddharangsee Thai Community Language School (BTCL School), which offers Thai language, Thai music, and Thai classical dance classes every Sunday.
On this occasion, the Ambassador and the Consul-General were informed about the school’s curriculum in Thai language, Thai classical music, and Thai culture. They also met and exchanged views with the school committee, teachers, students, and parents. The visit reflected the strength and unity of the Thai community in Sydney in preserving Thailand’s linguistic and cultural heritage abroad.
The Buddharangsee Thai Community Language School is a long-established community school in Sydney dedicated to teaching Thai language and culture. It is committed to nurturing and preserving Thai language and cultural heritage for future generations through creative and engaging programmes. In addition to language instruction, the school provides opportunities for youth to immerse themselves in Thailand’s rich traditions through Thai music and classical dance, as well as activities organised both within the school and in collaboration with the broader community.
