On 4 August 2025, Mr. Naruchai Ninnad, Consul-General in Sydney, paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Greg Piper, MP, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales, on the occasion of his assumption of official duty.

Both sides extensively discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the areas of education, economy, society, culture, tourism, and the creative economy, with a view to strengthening the role of the Thai community in the multicultural society of New South Wales.
