เมื่อวันที่ 20 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 นายนฤชัย นินนาท กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครซิดนีย์ พร้อมด้วยภริยา และนายฉัตรนพดล อักษรสวาสดิ์ กงสุล เข้าร่วมชมและให้กำลังใจการแข่งขันฟุตบอลไทยในออสเตรเลียรายการ AFC Champions League Two รอบ 16 ทีมสุดท้าย ระหว่างทีมจากประเทศไทย True Bangkok United และทีมชาติออสเตรเลีย Macarthur FC ที่สนามแคมป์เบลล์ทาวน์ สปอร์ต สเตเดียม ด้วยคะแนนรวม 4 - 2 ผ่านเข้ารอบแข่งขัน 8 ทีมสุดท้ายต่อไป

บรรยากาศภายในสนามเป็นไปอย่างสนุกสนานท่ามกลางเสียงเชียร์จากแฟนฟุตบอลทั้งชาวไทยและชาวออสเตรเลียที่มาร่วมให้กำลังใจทีมฟุตบอลอย่างมากมาย

สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครซิดนีย์ ขอแสดงความยินดีอย่างยิ่งกับทีมนักกีฬา True Bangkok United ที่สามารถผ่านเข้าสู่รอบต่อไปได้สำเร็จ และขอส่งกำลังใจให้ประสบความสำเร็จในรอบถัดไปต่อไป

On 20 February 2026, Mr. Naruchai Ninnad, Consul - General of Thailand in Sydney, together with his spouse and Mr. Chatnopdol Aksornsawad, Consul, attended the AFC Champions League Two Round of 16 match between Thailand’s True Bangkok United and Australia’s Macarthur FC at Campbelltown Sports Stadium to show support for the Thai team.

True Bangkok United secured an aggregate 4–2 victory, advancing to the quarter-finals. The atmosphere at the stadium was lively and full of energy, with many Thai and Australian supporters coming together to cheer on their teams.

The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Sydney warmly congratulates True Bangkok United on reaching the next round and wishes the team every success in the upcoming stage of the competition.
