เมื่อวันที่ 9 พฤศจิกายน 2568 นายนฤชัย นินนาท กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครซิดนีย์ พบปะนักเรียนไทยในโครงการ Outstanding Development Opportunity Scholarship (ODOS) Summer Camp ระยะ 6 สัปดาห์ ณ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีซิดนีย์ (University of Technology Sydney: UTS) โดยมีคุณ Mychel Palamountain รองผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายกิจการระหว่างประเทศ และศาสตราจารย์กิตติคุณ Tony Moon จาก UTS ให้การต้อนรับ

โครงการ ODOS เป็นโครงการทุนการศึกษาที่มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อกระจายโอกาสทางการศึกษาให้แก่นักเรียนที่มีผลการเรียนดีแต่ขาดแคลนโอกาสทางเศรษฐกิจ ให้ได้รับทุนศึกษาในสาขาที่สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของประเทศ โดยโครงการดังกล่าวดำเนินการร่วมกับสำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล (depa) กระทรวงดิจิทัลเพื่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคม และคณะกรรมาธิการการค้าและการลงทุนออสเตรเลีย (Austrade) โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อเสริมสร้างศักยภาพเยาวชนไทยในด้านเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล (STEM) และเปิดโอกาสให้ได้เรียนรู้ระบบการศึกษาและนวัตกรรมของประเทศออสเตรเลีย

ในโอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ กล่าวแสดงความยินดีแก่นักเรียนที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ในครั้งนี้ พร้อมทั้งชื่นชมความมุ่งมั่นของนักเรียนทุกคนในการพัฒนาทักษะด้านเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล ซึ่งจะเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญในการพัฒนาประเทศในอนาคต

On 9 November 2025, Mr. Naruchai Ninnad, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney, met with Thai students participating in the six-week Outstanding Development Opportunity Scholarship (ODOS) Summer Camp at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He was welcomed by Ms. Mychel Palamountain, Deputy Director of International Affairs, and Professor Emeritus Tony Moon at UTS.

The ODOS Scholarship aims to expand educational opportunities for academically talented students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by supporting their studies in fields aligned with Thailand’s national development needs. The program is jointly organised by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) under the Ministry of Digital Economy and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade). It seeks to enhance Thai youths’ competencies in digital technology (STEM) and provide them with opportunities to learn from Australia’s education system and innovation ecosystem.

On this occasion, the Consul-General congratulated the students on their participation and commended their dedication to developing digital technology skills, which form an essential foundation for the country’s future development.
