เมื่อวันที่ 22 มีนาคม 2569 นางสาวอาจารี ศรีรัตนบัลล์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา และนายนฤชัย นินนาท กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครซิดนีย์ พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ และทีมประเทศไทย และคู่สมรส เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงรับรองบนเรือหลวงนเรศวร (HTMS Naresuan) ณ ท่าจอดเรือหมายเลข 4 ฐานทัพเรือ HMAS Kuttabul, Fleet Base East นครซิดนีย์
งานเลี้ยงรับรองดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเนื่องในโอกาสที่เรือหลวงนเรศวรเดินทางเยือนออสเตรเลีย เพื่อเข้าร่วมการฝึก Exercise Kakadu 2026 และเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมสวนสนามทางเรือนานาชาติ (International Fleet Review 2026) เนื่องในโอกาสเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 125 ปี การก่อตั้งกองทัพเรือออสเตรเลีย ระหว่างวันที่ 20-24 มีนาคม 2569 ที่นครซิดนีย์ โดยมีผู้แทนจากภาครัฐ กองทัพ คณะทูตานุทูต และแขกเกียรติยศฝ่ายออสเตรเลียเข้าร่วม
ภายในงานประกอบด้วยพิธีการสำคัญ ได้แก่ พิธีรับธง (Sunset Ceremony) การกล่าวเปิดงานโดย พลเรือเอก ไพโรจน์ เฟื่องจันทร์ ผู้บัญชาการทหารเรือ และเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ตลอดจนการนำเสนอวีดิทัศน์เกี่ยวกับบทบาทและภารกิจของกองทัพเรือไทย
นอกจากนี้ เมื่อวันที่ 24 มีนาคม 2569 เอกอัครราชทูตฯ และกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้ร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารกลางวันเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่ผู้บัญชาการทหารเรือและคณะ
On 22 March 2026, H.E. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, Mr. Naruchai Ninnad, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney, together with the officials, Team Thailand officials and their spouses, attended a reception on-board HTMS Naresuan at FBE4, HMAS Kuttabul, Fleet Base East, Sydney.
The reception was held on the occasion of HTMS Naresuan’s participation in Exercise Kakadu 2026 and the International Fleet Review 2026, commemorating the 125th anniversary of the Royal Australian Navy, which took place from 20–24 March 2026. The event was attended by representatives from government, defence, the diplomatic corps, and guests of honour from Australia.
The programme featured key ceremonial elements, including the Sunset Ceremony, opening remarks by Admiral Pairote Fuangchan, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, remarks by the Ambassador, and cultural performances. A video presentation highlighting the roles and missions of the Royal Thai Navy was also screened.
In addition, on 24 March 2026, the Ambassador, together with the Consul-General, co-hosted a luncheon in honour of the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy and his delegation.
