กงสุลใหญ่ หัทยา คูสกุล ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะจากสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดการประชุมและนิทรรศการ (สสปน.) นำโดย น.ส. นุช หอมรสสุคนธ์ ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมนานาชาติ ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนออสเตรเลียเพื่อจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการตลาดในประเทศออสเตรเลีย ในโอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ได้กล่าวต้อนรับคณะผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์จากประเทศไทย และผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ในออสเตรเลีย ที่เข้าร่วมงาน Thailand MICE Roadshow in Australia 2023 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 2 พฤษภาคม 2566 ที่ Watersedge at Campbell’s Stores
ประเทศไทยจุดหมายปลายทางที่ตอบโจทย์ ทั้งการเดินทางธุรกิจและท่องเที่ยว โดยมีเมืองไมซ์ซิตี้ที่มีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวถึง 10 เมือง ได้แก่ กรุงเทพฯ พัทยา เชียงใหม่ พิษณุโลก ขอนแก่น อุดรธานี นครราชสีมา สุราษฎร์ธานี ภูเก็ต และสงขลา ซึ่งมีความพร้อมและสามารถรองรับการจัดงานไมซ์ทุกรูปแบบ ทั้งการจัดอบรมสัมมนา (Meetings) การเดินทางเพื่อเป็นรางวัล (Incentives) การจัดงานประชุมนานาชาติ (Conventions) รวมถึงการจัดงานแสดงสินค้า (Exhibitions) และงานเมกะอีเวนท์และเฟสติวัล (Mega Events and Festivals) รวมถึงการทำกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อมอื่น ๆ ด้วย
Promoting Thailand’s MICE Industry in Australia 
Mrs Hataya Khusakul, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney, welcomed the delegation from Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) led by Miss Nooch Homrossukhon, Director of Conventions Department, while visiting Australia to organize marketing promotion activities. On this occasion, the Consul-General gave a welcome remarks to a group of MICE entrepreneurs from Thailand and MICE industry entrepreneurs in Australia who participated the Thailand MICE Roadshow in Australia 2023 held on 2 May 2023 at Watersedge at Campbell's Stores.
