เมื่อวันที่ 11 เมษายน 2569 นายนฤชัย นินนาท กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครซิดนีย์ เข้าร่วมงานสงกรานต์ ณ วัดพุทธรังษี แอนนันเดล ซึ่งมีพุทธศาสนิกชนและชุมชนไทยเข้าร่วมงานเป็นจำนวนมาก
ภายในงานมีการประกอบพิธีทางพระพุทธศาสนา และกิจกรรมอื่น ๆ ได้แก่ พิธีสรงน้ำพระพุทธรูป สรงน้ำพระสงฆ์ และรดน้ำขอพรผู้สูงอายุ เนื่องในโอกาสวันขึ้นปีใหม่ไทย
On 11 April 2026, Mr Naruchai Ninnad, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney, attended the Songkran Festival at Wat Buddharangsee in Annandale, where Buddhist devotees and members of the Thai community gathered to participate in the celebration.
The event included a Buddhist religious ceremonies, following by traditional water-pouring rituals, including bathing the Buddha image, pouring water over the hands of monks, and paying respect to elders by asking for their blessings on the occasion of the Thai New Year.
