Travellers no longer require a hotel reservation and RT-PCR test for Day 5. The RT-PCR for Day 5 is replaced with an ATK self-test and reporting mechanism via the MorChana Application. However, travellers still need to have a fully paid SHA Extra+/AQ hotel reservation confirmation for Day 1 including a RT-PCR test, an ATK test kit (for Day 5) and airport transfer.

For non-Thai nationals, the prior requirement of a travel insurance with a minimum cover of 50,000 USD for medical expenses is reduced to 20,000 USD.

Travellers have to register for a Thailand Pass at least 7 days before the departure date. Travellers who received their QR code before 1 March 2022 can use this QR code to travel, and are advised to contact the hotel directly to request for a refund for Day 5 of the hotel reservation.
